SINAR MEKAR SDN BHD (SINAR MEKAR) being the official appointed logistic provider by Borneo International Expo Sdn Bhd (BiE) is a independent party and is not the contractor neither the servant of BiE.

SINAR MEKAR's involvement with BiE is solely catering for logistic services support for their exhibitors on the up-coming event i.e. The Borneo Post International Education Fair to be held on 26 to 28 March 2010 only.

SINAR MEKAR act independently by providing only logistic services to the confirmed and accepted exhibitors of BiE only.

All confirmed exhibitors that agreed to use SINAR MEKAR for logistics support/services are abided to our terms and conditions herein contained.

SINAR MEKAR's fees/charges/rates stated in our quotation are solely for the transportation, freight and/or handling charges for general cargo only. Fees charged does not warranty approval from custom permit application neither it warrants any special license permit.

All SINAR MEKAR's business transacted is subject to the Standard Trading of Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF) and/or the Airfreight Forwarders Association of Malaysia (AFAM).

All exhibitors are encourage to declare your cargo as detail as possible, should your cargo being retained by Custom Authority due to insufficient information or false declaration, cargo owner is to bear full responsibility, SINAR MEKAR is not liable for cargo retention and whatsoever charges incur i.e. port/airport storage, penalty & etc..

All cargo owner is responsible to insure your own cargo. Should you opt for section "E" in the proposal form i.e. insurance coverage, all terms & conditions are to strictly to abide with the Master Insurance Policy, should any dispute/claim arises, cargo owner is to deal direct with Insurance company and shall ensure that their respective insurer waive all rights of subrogation against our company, our affiliates, our respective employees, servants and agents. Sinar Mekar only assist in arranging for Insurance coverage for interested exhibitor, we are not the representative neither we are the contract agent of any insurance agency or company.

Should there be any damages/discrepancy found on the cargo upon arrival at port or airport, a survey report will be filed and forward to cargo owner to avoid any unnecessary dispute on liability.

Cargo owner is required to verify the cargo prior acknowledged receipt, any damages or discrepancy thereafter shall not be entertained.
